On January 21, 2022 Eileen Evert, surrounded by her daughters and son-in law, was called home to be with her Lord. Born on October 23, 1957 in Bristol, PA she was the daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth (Betz) Murphy. In 1991, she moved to Tioga County PA with her daughters, Coleen Evert and Katie Evert (Cameron Clemens) both of Wellsboro. Eileen worked for MetalKraft Industries, where she retired after 26 years. In addition to her daughters, she is survived by two brothers Dennis Murphy of PA and Michael Murphy of CO and many nieces and nephews. Anyone who knew Eileen, knew that her grandson, Jack Clemens, was the light of her life and she would tell anyone who would listen stories about him. Along with spending time with her family, Eileen was an active member of St. Peter's Catholic Church where she served as Eucharistic Minister and took Holy Communion to the nursing homes. Her true passion in life was helping others in need. For many years she volunteered her time with Sister Jenny's Outreach, Hamilton-Gibson Productions and the Samaritan House. Eileen was an amazing, selfless, giving, beautiful person who will be greatly missed. Friends and family are invited to pay tribute to her life from 6-8pm Thursday January 27, 2022 at the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home 139 Main Street Wellsboro, PA, and to her Funeral Mass 10am Friday January 28, 2022 at St. Peter's Catholic Church Central Avenue Wellsboro.
