Duane J. Cobb

Duane J. Cobb, 67, of Wellsboro, passed away at his home early Monday April 19, 2021. He was, the son of John E. "Jack" and Shirley (Johnson) Cobb, and was born March 20, 1954 in Wellsboro. Raised in the Wellsboro area, in 1973 Duane graduated from Wellsboro High School. He loved fishing and hunting, wood-working and gardening, and feeding his humming birds. Duane was a member of the Wellsboro Moose, VFW Social Club, the Arnot Sportsman's Club, and the American Legion. Duane is survived by his son: Michael Cobb of Mansfield, a daughter: Tracey Jo Kaphingst of Wisconsin, a close friend and partner: Bonnie Wilcox Halstead and her son Jeff Halstead, both of Linden, PA, several grandchildren, two uncles: Duane (Nancy) Cobb and James (Peany) Cobb, a sister-in-law Pam Cobb Smith, two cousins: Tom Conner and Danny Cobb, and two nephews: Justin and Jamie Cobb. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother: Rick Cobb, and a sister: Jackie Cobb Doud. Friends and family are invited to pay tribute to Duane's life from 10-11am Friday April 23, 2021 at the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home 139 Main Street Wellsboro, PA, with a funeral to follow in the funeral home.
