Duane Earl Cobb

Duane Earl Cobb, 89, of Wellsboro, passed away at home, surrounded by family on Tuesday August 16, 2022. He was born February 23, 1933, in Westfield, PA to Cleon Henry and Beatrice (Earle) Cobb. Duane graduated from high school, served in the US Army, and worked at Ingersoll Rand. On August 12, 2020 he married Nancy Cobb. Duane was an active member in the Wellsboro First Baptist Church and was a member of the American Legion Post 235 in Tioga. Duane is survived by his wife: Nancy Cobb of Wellsboro; a son: Stephen (Annette) Cobb of Tioga, PA; a daughter: Earlene (George) Lackey of West Columbia, SC; two grandchildren; a brother: James (Peany) Cobb of Wellsboro; 10 step-grandchildren; 12 step great-grandchildren; and a step-son: Freeman Covert of Cameron, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his first wife: Margaret A. (Shabloski) Cobb. Friends and family are invited to pay tribute to Duane's life from 10:00am-11:00am Monday August 22, 2022 at the First Baptist Church of Wellsboro with a service to follow in church.
