Dorothy C. (Campbell) Scudder

Dorothy C. (Campbell) Scudder, 96, formerly of Wellsboro, passed away Saturday April 9, 2022 at the Berwick Hospital in Berwick, PA. She was born April 13, 1925 in Wellsboro, to Ralph E. and Mina E. (Mattoon) Campbell. She graduated from Wellsboro High School, and married Robert L. Scudder, Sr. Dorothy was a homemaker and an active and dedicated member of the United Methodist Church of Wellsboro. She enjoyed knitting and plastic craft, loved reading, and as a lifelong resident of Wellsboro considered that her home even after relocating to Berwick with her daughter in 2018. Dorothy is survived by two sons: John L. Scudder (Debbie) of Anchorage, AK, and Robert L. Scudder, Jr. (Frankie) of Northumberland, PA; two daughters: Lynda Clark (Dr. David) of Berwick, and Natalie S. McCue of Philadelphia; 6 grandchildren: John Clark (Stephanie), Brian Clark (Elizabeth), Eddie McCue (Stephanie), Chris Scudder (Becky), Chad Scudder, and Shawn Scudder; and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and three sisters: Mary, Kathryn, and Janice. A private funeral service will be held in the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home 139 Main Street Wellsboro, PA 16901, burial in the Wellsboro Cemetery.
