Doris N. (Niles) Coumbe

Doris N. (Niles) Coumbe, 94, of Wellsboro, passed away Thursday January 6, 2022 at The Green Home in Wellsboro. She was born May 10, 1927 in Corning, NY to Donald G. and Eva A. (Perry) Niles. She graduated from Wellsboro High School in the class of 1945. On June 30, 1947, she married William S. Coumbe. Doris worked in the payroll division of Wellsboro's Corning Glass Works. Doris is survived by her brother: Erwin R. Niles of Wellsboro, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Donald E. Niles, and a sister Marian Webster. Her family has entrusted the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home 139 Main Street Wellsboro, PA 16901 with her arrangements. Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Mass 9:30am Saturday January 22, 2022 at St. Peter's Catholic Church burial in Wellsboro Cemetery.
