Donna Jean Dickinson, 81, of Wellsboro, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2016 at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA.  She was the widow of Don R. Dickinson.  Donna was born April 29, 1935 in Blossburg, PA, the daughter of the late Richard and Beatrice (Fuller) Wilson.

Donna was a member of the Middlebury Baptist Church, she was a devout Christian.  She loved her African violets and Christmas cactuses; she was an acclaimed cook who was especially known for her chili and spaghetti sauce.  She liked crocheting and house plants.

Donna loved her family, a devoted grandmother who loved having her grandchildren over to stay and the annual birthday celebrations for her children.  She had a big heart and the warmest hug on earth.

Surviving is her son Mike Dickinson (Kris) of Wellsboro; daughters, Joan E. Nelson (James A.) of Ulysses and Jean A. Dibble (Thomas) of Wellsboro; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; her Aunt Jean Fish of Wellsboro; sister, Catherine Banker (Edward) of Wellsboro.  In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her grandson, John S. Davis, Jr.; brothers, Neil and Bill Wilson and her sister, Judy Horton.

Services will be held at Middlebury Baptist Church on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Stan Gill officiating.  Burial will be in West Branch Cemetery.
