Donald R. Slusser

Donald R. Slusser, 87, of Lawrenceville, passed away Wednesday February 10, 2021 at Bradford County Manor. He was born November 12, 1933 to Albert and Angeline Slusser. After graduating from high school, Donald served his country in the US Army. On April 16, 1966 he married Donna J. Prothero, and together they shared 33 years of marriage. He worked as an inspector at Dresser-Rand. Donald is survived by his daughter: Shirley Silva and husband Guillermo "Willie" Cardenas of Austin, TX; two grandchildren: Alonso Silva and Angelica Silva, both of Austin, TX; three great-grandchildren; a brother: Richard Slusser; two sisters: Alberta Hastings and Linda Strykowski; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a grandson: Jonathan Goris, and a brother: William Slusser. Due to social concerns surrounding Covid, there will be no public services, and he will be buried privately, beside his wife at Tioga County Memorial Gardens.
