Dolores M. (Tomlinson) Vaughn

Dolores M. (Tomlinson) Vaughn, 80, of Fairfield Glade, TN and formerly of Wellsboro, died on May 1, 2016.  She was born January 6, 1936, the daughter of the late Clifford and Reva (McCaslin) Tomlinson of Mansfield.  Dolores was married to Donald M. Vaughn, who preceded her in death, September 22, 1992.

Dolores loved her family very much and loved spending all the time she could with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was employed as a secretary for 13 years at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital.  Dolores attended the United Methodist Church in Fairfield Glade, TN. She was a member of the Mansfield Lions Club from which she transferred to Fairfield Glade, TN.

Dolores is survived by her loving partner and companion, Ronald F. Smith; three daughters, and sons-in-law, Sandra (Steve) Mead of Middlebury Center; Cynthia (George) Jenkins of Bloomsburg and Cheryl  Vaughn (Steve Martin)  of  Riverton, WY; four grandchildren, Tyler (Emma) Mead, of Middlebury Center; Valery (Seth) Weaver of Wellsboro; Whitney (Richard) Morse of Williamsport; and Skylar (Richard) Kane of Westfield; six great-grandchildren, Sawyer and Silas Mead; Rachel and Natalie Jo Weaver, Morgan and  Bridget Morse; brother, Donald Tomlinson of Mansfield and her sister, Barbara (Glenn) Chamberlain, of Elmira, NY; several nieces and nephews and cousins.

In addition to her husband and parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her brothers, George, Eugene, Gordon, Jack and Ivan.

Friends and family are invited to Dolores’s Life Celebration on Wednesday,  May 18, 2016 from 12-1 PM, at Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, Ltd., 139 Main Street, Wellsboro, PA.  Memorial service to follow 1:00 PM, with Pastor Kristi Webster officiating.  Interment in Tioga County Memorial Gardens.
