Delores A. (Dean) Selleck

Delores A. (Dean) Selleck, 79, of Wellsboro, passed away at her home Wednesday July 14, 2021. She was born April 11, 1942 to Harland I. and Helen E. (Brian) Dean, and graduated from Wellsboro High School in the class of 1960. On February 27, 1988, she married A. Daniel Selleck. While Delores was a homemaker, she ran a day care in her home for more than 20 years, and had worked for JC Penney's in Raliegh, NC, and here in Wellsboro at Dunham's. She was a member of the Wellsboro First Baptist Church. Delores is survived by her husband: A. Daniel Selleck of Wellsboro; a brother: Edward Dean of Ft. Mills, SC; a son: Dennis McMichael (Cheri Rice) of Fabius, NY; two daughters: Debra McMichael of Harrisburg, PA, and Diane (Jeff) Wilson of Wellsboro; 4 grandchildren: Brock (Kristie) Driebelbies of Wellsboro, Peyton Wilson of Danville, Summer McMichael of Denver, CO, and Hannah McMichael of Syracuse, NY; 1 great-grandchild: Elliette K. Driebelbies of Wellsboro; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Friends and family are invited to First Baptist Church of Wellsboro from 10-11am Tuesday July 20, 2021 with a memorial service to follow in the church with pastor Drew Simcox officiating.
