Debra Ann Weatherby

Debra Ann Weatherby, 63, of Wellsboro, PA, passed away at The Green Home on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.  Debra was born March 17, 1954, in St. Louis, Missouri, she was the daughter of David and Rose (Dimon) Weatherby.

Debra worked at Broad Acres, as an Activities Enrichment provider.  She was a member of Wellsboro First Baptist Church. She loved reading the scriptures and sharing with anyone who would listen; she went on a mission’s trip to the Dominican Republic.   Debra was a strong- willed woman and very selfless, willing to do anything for anyone. She loved children, and knitted hats for babies, colored pictures and gave to the residents at The Green Home. She loved doing puzzles and playing games.  Debra enjoyed the outdoors; her greatest love with spending time with her family.

Surviving are her mother, Rose Weatherby of Wellsboro; three daughters, Ann Greenfield, Bath, NY, Amy Haskins (Jamie) Wellsboro and Amanda Rachiele (Louis) Wellsboro; a son she raised as her own, Sebastian Greenfield, Florida; eight grandchildren; five brothers, Daniel Weatherby, Florida, Michael Weatherby (Lucinda), Wellsboro, Joseph Weatherby, Wellsboro, David Weatherby, Jr. (Kimberly) Florida and Randy Weatherby, PA; three sisters, Sharon White, Blossburg, Bernice Berrittini, Wellsboro and Charlene Odell, Savona, NY; many nieces and nephews. Debra was preceded in death by her father, David, Grandmother, Dahlia and her Aunt Evelyn.

A memorial service will be held at Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, Ltd. On Sunday, April 30, 2017 at 4:00 PM with Rev. Eugene Charsky officiating; there will be a visitation from 2-4 PM preceding the service.
