David "Bryan" Weller

David Bryan Weller 65 of Calverton NY passed away Wednesday August 26 2026 after a long illness following a heart transplant.

He was known as Bryan to his family and friends. After graduating from Wellsboro High School class of 1980. Bryan proudly served four years in the US Coast Guard stationed in Hampton Bays NY.

He was a devout Pittsburg Steeler fan, loved collage football especially Penn State and followed NASCAR. Enjoyed bird watching and loved to BBQ year round.

He loved his family and friends, especially with his three nephews love, laughter and pranks would abound. He held a deep affection for Wellsboro and always planned to move back home. Bryan was an amazing husband, son, brother and uncle.

He is survived by his wife of almost 29 years Janet Weller of Calverton,NY his parents Ronald and Barbara Scase Weller of Wellsboro, brothers Michael (Desiree) Weller of Middlebury Center and Bradley Weller of WI, three nephews Brooke (Kayla) Weller of AK, Blake Weller of Middlebury Center, Joseph Weller of MD, and great nephew Torben Weller. He was preceded in death by his special grandmother Margaret "Du" Etner.

In accordance with his family's wishes there will be a private service at a later date.
