David F. Crawford

David F. Crawford, 71, of Mansfield passed away Saturday October 23, 2021 in his home, surrounded by family. He was born July 28, 1950 in Hornell, NY to Ralph W. and Hilda M. (Mattison) Crawford, he attended Wellsboro Area Schools, and Served in the US Army. On November 13, 1971, he married Shirley L. Bartholomew, with whom he shared 50 years of marriage. (We're counting it, she earned it.) Together they raised 4 children and ran several local service stations. David loved old cars and turning wrenches, spending time at the Crawford farm and was devoted to his family. He is survived by his wife Shirley; 3 sons: Todd W. Crawford of Mansfield, Tracy W. Crawford of Galeton, and David F. Crawford, Jr. (Jen) of Savannah, TN; a daughter: Billie Jo Yost (Seth) of San Clemente, CA; 12 grandchildren: Taylor Sheive (Jared), Dustin Crawford, Matthew Crawford, Skylar Crawford, Justin Shedd, Drew Crawford, Brianna Crawford, Jessie Crawford, Ariana Yost, Mya Yost, and Kiera Yost; 3 great-grandchildren: Owen Boyce, Ellie Setzer, and Phillip Setzer; a brother: Terry Crawford (Roxie) of Wellsboro; a sister-in-law: Carlene Houston of Winterhaven, FL; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends and family are invited to pay tribute to David's life from 10:00-11:00am Wednesday October 27, 2021 at the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home 139 Main Street Wellsboro, PA, with a funeral to follow in the funeral home.
