Daniel Blair Carson

Daniel Blair Carson, 71, of Middlebury Center, passed away Monday, September 29, 2025, at UPMC Wellsboro. He was born September 18, 1954, in Wellsboro, the son of the late William Link and Joan Marie (Copp) Carson.

Daniel graduated from Wellsboro High School, Class of 1972. He worked as a bricklayer for the Bricklayers & Trowel Trades International Union. He enjoyed: hunting, trapping, horseback riding, fly fishing, playing guitar, and fishing and swimming with family and friends in his pond.

Daniel is survived by a daughter, Lynnette Carson and her best friend, Dane Miller, both of Williamsport: a brother, Russell (Shelly) Carson of Shinglehouse; sisters: Marie (Rick) Kane of Wellsboro; Mary Carson of Wellsboro; and Marla (Rick) Warriner of Shinglehouse; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by a son, Jason Daniel Carson.
