Clea Allen

Clea (Cooper) Allen, 92, of Corpus Christi, TX passed away Friday June 5, 2026. She was born on July 10, 1933, in Wellsboro, PA to Thomas and Ella (Howey) Cooper. She studied art and design at the Rochester Institute of Technology and was a member of the women's fencing team. She and her teammates were later inducted into RIT's Hall of Fame in 2017. She earned her bachelor's degree in 1955 and in January of 1957, she married David Allen. She was a dedicated mother and wife, and a devout Christian.

Clea is survived by a son: Chris Allen (Connally) of Corpus Christi, TX; two daughters: Sheri Allen of Irvine, CA, and Debra Wu (Anthony) of Burnaby, Canada; three grandchildren: Lauren Dominguez, Brandon Wu, and Justin Wu; and a great-grandchild: Riley Dominguez. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and two sisters.
