Chester W. "Bill" Pierce

Chester "Bill" Pierce, Jr., 75, of Trout Run, PA died peacefully at home on May 19th, 2022. He was born April 23, 2947 in Wellsboro, PA, the son of the late Olive Pierce and Chester W. Pierce. Bill was married to Lynda Cohick Pierce for 53 years. He was a graduate of Wellsboro High School. He was self-employed. He was proud toserve in the US Army's 1st Cavalry Division in Viet Nam. Bill was preceded in death by his son Michael Pierce. In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by a brother: Dale Pierce of Four Oak, NC; three sisters: Judy Miller of Rochester, PA, Joni Cook of Otsego, MI, and Cindy Potts of New Brighton, PA; his beloved niece Christy Cohick; 4 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. Bill was creative and a lover of the arts and of the environment. Local arrangements have been entrusted to the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home 139 Main Street Wellsboro, PA.
