Cheryl L (West) Becker

Cheryl L. (West) Becker, 54, of Mansfield, passed away at her residence on November 6, 2017. Cheryl was born December 21, 1962, in Wellsboro, the daughter of the late James Herbert and Judith Elaine (Robinson) West. She was a graduate of Wellsboro High School. Cheryl was owner/operator of West Star Crafts and Cheryl’s Cleaning Service; in addition, she was employed by Walmart.

Cheryl was a member of Whitneyville UMC where she was very active. She opened her home to all especially during the holidays making sure no one went without a meal.  She was very sensitive to others needs.  Cheryl loved to bake, crochet and sew. The time spent with her grandchildren was very precious to her. Cheryl will be remembered for her warm heart and generosity.

Cheryl is survived by her daughters, Brittany “BJ” Kunsman (Greg) of Elkland, PA, Kayla Keller (Nick) of Hellertown, PA, Delaney Starkweather and her boyfriend, John Winkler of Mansfield, PA; grandchildren, Marley, Ryder, Killian, Atticus and one on the way; brother, Gregory West, Liberty, PA; sister, Charlan West, Whitneyville, PA; several nieces and nephews; cousin, Kathy Fuhrer, whom she thought of as a sister; and close friend, Debbie Smith. In addition to her parents, Cheryl was preceded in death by her brother, Elwood West.

A receiving of family and friends will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2017 from 4-6 PM at Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, 139 Main Street, Wellsboro. Cheryl’s funeral service will follow at 6 PM with Pastor Sandi Hemker officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Tioga County Homeless Initiative, 2580 Charleston Rd., Mansfield PA 16933.
