Charles E. Grinnell

Charles E. Grinnell, 93, of Wellsboro, passed away with his loving family at his side, on Friday,
November 3, 2017 at his home. He was the husband of Lucille Goodwin, with whom he shared 73 years
of marriage. Charles was born on August 20, 1924, in Millerton, PA he was the son of the late Lee G. and Marie S. (Doty) Grinnell.
Charles was a World War II veteran, having served in the U.S. Army. He was employed by Corning Glass Works, Wellsboro Division. Charles received his 75-year pin from Corning Glass in 2017, where he thoroughly enjoyed working. He was very dedicated to his home and family.
Surviving are his wife, Lucille Grinnell of Wellsboro; his son, Edward Grinnell (Carol) of Mainesburg; and his daughter, Joan Sargent of Mansfield; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great great-grandson. In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his daughter, Joyce Adams.
Graveside service will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
