Brad L. Wilson

October 23, 1980 — March 17, 2022

Brad Laverne Wilson of Wellsboro, PA passed away on Thursday March 17, 2022 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA at the age of 41. He was born on October 23, 1980 in Wellsboro, PA to Timothy Laverne and Glory Ann (White) Wilson, and graduated from Wellsboro Area High School in 1999. Brad attended college classes in athletics and natural resource management at Lock Haven and Mansfield Universities before pursuing a career in natural gas production technology, ultimately becoming Operations Manager for Well Versed Oilfield Services of Wellsboro, PA. He married Christine Heather Lellis of Wellsboro, PA on July 30, 2005, and together they were raising three children at the time of his passing. In his youth, Brad developed a great love of the outdoors hunting the mountains and fishing the freshwater streams, rivers, and lakes of Pennsylvania with his father, Tim. As an adult, he expanded his outdoor interests to saltwater fishing, crabbing, and clamming along the Atlantic coastline through the Gulf of Mexico, with particular interest in surfcasting for striped bass and albacore in Massachusetts and New York. Brad had a passion for music, and enjoyed an unusually wide range of genres, including classic rock, country, rap, hip-hop, Christian, and Broadway musicals. He was a dedicated fan of the Buffalo Bills, with unwavering support through good times and bad. Above all, Brad was a dedicated family man, with his greatest love taking Jeep rides through the back roads of Pennsylvania with his wife and children. Brad is survived by his wife Christine; children Makyleigh, Jaxon, and Porter; parents Timothy and Glory Wilson; maternal grandparents Daniel Webster and Joan Hoppe; in-laws Bill and Kathy Lellis; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Elwood and Vivian Wilson. Friends and family are invited to pay tribute to Brad's life on Friday April 8, 2022 from 5pm-7pm at the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, 139 Main Street, Wellsboro, PA, with a memorial service to follow at 7pm in the funeral home.
