Bonnie Short

Bonnie R. Short, 71, passed away, Friday, January 16, 2026, at her home.

Bonnie was born on March 12, 1954, in Wellsboro, the late Calvin W. and Laura (Butler) Short.

Bonnie was a graduate of Liberty High School, Class of 1972. She worked as a Registered Nurse for Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital for 37+ years. She enjoyed reading and playing cards.

Bonnie is survived by several nieces and nephews and in-laws. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Alfred Short, and sisters: Iva Moore, Edna Kelly, Mary Kuryla, Linda Fogus, and Dorothy Haines.

Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects, Friday, January 23, 2026 from 10-11 am at the Tussey-Mosher Funeral home, 139 Main St., Wellsboro. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am. Burial will be in Tioga County memorial Gardens. The family suggest memorial contributions in Bonnie's name be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
