Barbara (Balint) Krumbholz
October 15, 1920 — August 2, 2017
Barbara Krumbholz, 96, of Wellsboro passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at the Laurels Personal Care Home. She was the wife of Ferdinand Krumbholz, who preceded her in death. Barbara was born October 15,1920, in Hudson, NY, the daughter of the late George and Suzanne (Gabris) Balint. Barbara was the last surviving of eleven children.
Barbara was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church; she was very active in her church. In addition, Barbara belonged to the Wellsboro Lions Club. She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed doing needlework. Barbara was an avid crossword enthusiast and solitaire player. She was an accomplished cook and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving is her son, Paul Krumbholz (Jean LaPlatte) of Morristown, NJ; daughters, Linda McNeill (Glenn) of Wellsboro, PA; Leslie Krumbholz of Taos, NM; two grandchildren, Jeffrey Strodt (Krista) of Milford, NJ and Anne Medina-Johnson (JJ) of Denver, CO; three great-grandchildren, Reese and Derek Strodt, Cecelia Medina-Johnson; many nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
