Arthur J. “Art” Mann, 80, of Wellsboro, died on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at his residence.

Art was born April 7, 1941, in Clearfield, the son of the late Clifford Jasper and Lillian Ruth (Smith) Hawk.  He is the husband of Alice L. (McNett) Mann who survives.

Art retired from Dresser Industries, Wellsboro, after 37 years of service as a C & C Operator.  He was always very active and enjoyed running and bicycling.  Art also loved spending time with his family and attending his children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events.

In addition to his loving wife, Alice, Art is survived by a son, James (Rhoda) Mann, a daughter, Kathleen (Francis) Kline, a brother, Clarence “Bud” (Donna) Mann, grandchildren; Baylee (A.J. Travis), Parker, Ryan, Kaeden and Lindsey all of Wellsboro and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Art was preceded in death by a son, Michael Mann and a sister, Loretta Wilson.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Wellsboro Cemetery with Pastor Ed Siddle officiating.

The family request no flowers. Memorials in Art’s name may be made to the Wellsboro Area Food Pantry, 36 Main St., Wellsboro, PA 16901 or the Tioga County Homeless Initiative, 2580 Charleston Rd., Wellsboro, PA 16901.
