Anne I.  Maynard, 89, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2015, at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital in Wellsboro, PA.  Anne was the wife of Robert S. Maynard, who preceded her in death on May 13, 2010.  Anne was born in Wellsboro, on December 21, 1925, the daughter of the late John and Hazel (Irwin) Ingerick.

Anne was a member of Wellsboro Bible Church.  She was a wonderful cook and hostess, she enjoyed entertaining her family and friends. Anne traveled to China in her lifetime, a trip she truly relished.  She loved to knit and crochet. Anne was an avid gardener and loved to read.  But the joy of her life was her family, they meant everything to her.  She was a devoted wife , having spent 65 years of marriage with her late husband.

Surviving are her son, Robert (Catherine) Maynard, N. Myrtle Beach, SC; daughters, Linda (Jim)Manning, North Las Vegas, NV; Vicki (Bob)Becker, Wellsboro and Susan (Walter)Beabout, Lockport, NY;12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; sisters, Elaine Kurzejewski, Blossburg, PA; Janice VanDuyne (Richard)Wellsboro, PA; Sharon (John)Yessa, Greenville, SC; several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to Anne’s Life Celebration on Sunday, December 13, 2015 from 5-8 PM, at Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, 139 Main St., Wellsboro and Monday, December 14, 2015 from 10-11 AM, at Wellsboro Bible Church, 45 East Ave., Wellsboro, with funeral service following at 11:00 AM.  Rev. Robert Becker and Rev. TJ Freeman officiating, interment in Wellsboro Cemetery.
