Alberta M. Hastings

Alberta M. Hastings, 93, of Wellsboro, passed away, Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Broad Acres, Wellsboro. She was born on October 28, 1932, in Nescopeck, the daughter of late Albert and Angeline (Hess) Slusser.

Alberta enjoyed baking, playing cards, sewing, reading, listening to her vinyl records, and playing Yahtzee.

Alberta is survived by three daughters: Patricia Larrivee of Farmville, VA; Dawn Hastings of Wellsboro; and Kathleen (Christopher) Hoffman of Elko, GA; a son, Gregg Hastings of Palmyra, VA; a sister, Linda Strykowski of Wellsboro; seven grandchildren: Tina, John, Renee, Samantha, Devon, Tori, and Shea; and six great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Alberta was preceded in death by three brothers: Richard, Donald, and William.
