Winfield B. Neal

Winfield “Bugsy” Neal II, 57, of Westfield, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 18, 2017 at his residence. He was born August 21, 1960, in Wellsboro, PA, the son of the late Winfield B. and Dorothy Mary (Hurd) Neal.

Winfield was employed by River Valley Country Club as a groundskeeper.  He was a member of the VFW in Knoxville as well as a member of Chatham Twp. VFC. Winfield enjoyed hunting and fishing; he was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to watch NASCAR and Yankee’s baseball with his brother Rick; in addition, he loved to barbeque chicken.

Surviving is his son, Tyler Neal (Paiton) of Mansfield; grandchildren, Beau Neal and soon to be Koree Neal; five brothers, Richard Neal (Sandy), Lynn Neal (Barb), Philip Neal (Peggy), George Neal (Linda) and Steven Neal (Lois); two sisters, Janet Hill (Bob) and Amy Getz (Denny). In addition to his parents, Winfield was preceded in death by his infant brother, James Neal.

Friends and family are invited to Winfield’s Life Celebration on Friday, September 22, 2017 from 4-7 PM at Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, 139 Main St. Wellsboro.  Memorial service to follow at 7:00 PM.
