Thomas Kiernan Obituary

Thomas Aquinas Kiernan 62, born in Pittsburgh, November 19, 1955, died in Tioga, PA on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, after a valiant battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Francis Kiernan and Dolores McCormick Kiernan; his son, Thomas A. Kiernan II; and a sister, Noreen. He was a hospitality professional and pharmaceutical technician. He recently worked for the Penn Wells Hotel in Wellsboro and previously for the Fallon Hotel in Lock Haven. He also worked for Portsmouth Hospital in New Hampshire and the Ramin Pharmacy in Williamsport. He enjoyed baseball, basketball, tennis, and was an avid Yankees and Penn State fan. 

Thomas graduated from Bishop Neumann High School in 1973 and attended Lock Haven University. He is survived by his life companion, Jonita Gedid. He is survived also by his brothers and sisters, Arthur “Brian Funnagan” Kiernan, Dolores Kiernan Bramer, Kassie (Eugene) Kiernan Nowak, John Kiernan, Charles Kiernan, Eleanor Kiernan Fox , Mary Kiernan (Joseph) Antonioli, and Pat Kiernan. He is survived by fourteen nieces and nephews. He was loved by all who met him because of his kind and generous soul. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of his family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, Ltd., Wellsboro.
