Thomas D. Hoover

Thomas D. Hoover, 62, of Wellsboro, passed away at his residence on Saturday, March 11, 2017.  He was born December 3, 1954, in Williamsport, PA, the son of the late Raymond and Bertie A. (Dieter) Hoover.

Thomas was a graduate of Wellsboro High School with the Class of 1972.  In addition he was a graduate of Mansfield University; he received his Medical Technology Internship at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. He worked in several hospitals as a Medical Technologist; the last one being Bath County Hospital, Hot Springs, VA. 

 Thomas was an US Army Veteran. He enjoyed music and played in Blue Grass Bands.

Surviving is his sister, Holly L. Hoover, Wellsboro; uncles, Herbert L. Hoover, Big Flats, NY; William Dieter, South Williamsport, PA, and John Dieter, Muncy, PA; several cousins. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2017, at 2:00 PM, Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, Ltd. 139 Main St. Wellsboro, PA.  Visitation will be held from 1-2 PM prior to service, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Old Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Pennsdale, PA.
