Rosella M. (Copp) Cook

Rosella M. Cook, 92, of Wellsboro passed away at The Green Home, Saturday, October 28, 2017.  She was the widow of George N. Cook with whom she shared 56 years of marriage.  Rosella was born September 10, 1925 in Wellsboro to the late Russell and Mary (Harding) Copp. 

An avid reader, Rosella also enjoyed music, walking, travelling, movies, discussing politics and cooking. She liked cooking enough that she worked as a cook at the Carleton Nursing Home.  She loved her family, and especially enjoyed her grandchildren.  Animals were also a special part of her life, she was a true animal lover.

Rosella is survived by her 3 children:  William Cook (Regina Johnson) of San Diego CA, Edward Cook (Melissa) of Rancho Santa Fe, CA, and Carol Osgood (Edmund) of Wellsboro; 4 grandchildren:  Laura Cook of Wellsboro, Eric Cook of Manteo, NC, Jordan Cook of San Luis Obispo, CA, and Jamisen Cook of Rancho Santa Fe, CA; a great-grandchild:  Asher Cook; and a sister Joan (William) Carson of Wellsboro.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a sister:  Margaret Jean Rice (Donald).

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 10-11 AM, at the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home.  Rosella’s memorial tribute will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home.  She will be interred in the Wellsboro Cemetery.
