Percy W. Musser, 79, of Mansfield, died July 5, 2017, in the evening at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital Emergency Room. He was the husband of Charlotte J. Munson, whom he married on May 23, 1981. They shared 36 years of marriage together. Percy was born in Lewistown, PA, on October 29, 1937, the son of the late Elder Nelson and Carrie (Frock) Musser.
Percy attended Penn College in Williamsport and studied electronics. He worked for Mergenthaler-Linotype Co. in Wellsboro, PA for 12 years and retired in 1985 from Mergenthaler in Arlington TX, as a Field Service Engineer.
He was a member, elder and treasurer at the Ansonia Full Gospel Church. Percy enjoyed hunting, camping and going to the Grand Old Opry.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are his sons and daughters-in-law, Darell W. Musser (Jean) of Arlington, TX and Brian T. Musser (Vivian) of Springfield, TN; step-sons and daughters-in-law, Todd W. Niles (Nancy) of Wellsboro, PA and Terry B. Niles (Karen) of Carlisle, PA; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; brother, Gary L. Musser (Charlene) of Gulf Breeze, FL, several nieces and nephews.
Percy’s Life Celebration will be held at Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, Ltd., 139 Main St. Wellsboro, PA from 10 am to 12 noon, on Saturday, July 8, 2017. Funeral service to follow at 12:00 noon with Rev. Laverne Holliday officiating. Burial will be in Tioga County Memorial Gardens.
