When we were growing up, Hugh was always a kind neighbor, and at times almost a big brother to us all. He was always a kind man with a quiet demeanor yet a large heart. We are so sorry for your loss. My brothers and I have often spoke of Hugh with fond memories. Sincerely, The Antoines

To the family of Hugh Conkright,
First of all I would like to say how sorry I am for your loss.
Although I did not know Hugh, I can tell from his obituary that he was loved and will be missed. It also seems he had a great deal of faith.
The reason I am writing is not only to express my sympathies but also to share a bit of scriptural encouragement. 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4 describes God as "Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials.." One scripture I find comforting in times like this is John 5:28,29 where Jesus spoke of a resurrection. It is something we can be confident and look forward to.
I hope this brings you a little bit of comfort. For more information please go to jw.org

Sincerely,
Cindy Duet

So sorry to hear of Hugh's passing. He was a good high school friend of my brother Dan. One of my favorite stories was how Hugh would call Walter Conkright "Uncle Walter". I know there is nothing I can say or do to help the family through this very difficult time. I do want you to know all of you are in my thoughts and prayers.
