H. June (Bair) Minschwaner

H. June Minschwaner, 85, of Wellsboro, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the Green Home in Wellsboro. She was the wife of Walter Earl Minschwaner, Jr. of Wellsboro, they shared over 60 years of marriage together. June was born on May 31, 1932 in New Hope, PA, the daughter of the late Walter Girard and Hazel (Horn) Bair.

June worked in floral retail at a couple of local florists for many years. She was also a true homemaker for her husband and children. She always had fun watching the game show, Family Feud, especially when Steve Harvey was hosting. Nicknamed “June Bug,” she had a smile that could light up a room. June was described by family as “the sweetest person, who was loved by all.”

Left to cherish her memory are, her loving husband, Walter of Wellsboro; three sons, Larry (Karen) Minschwaner of New Jersey, Ronald (Pepi) Minschwaner of Oregon, Robert Minschwaner and his girlfriend, Colleen of Doylestown, PA; one daughter, Sharon Minschwaner of Morrisville, PA; ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; one brother, Robert Bair of Wellsboro; one sister-in-law, Marion Bair; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by, a brother and sister-in-law, Walter (Kathryn) Bair; brother, Earl Bair; a sister-in-law, Grace Bair.
