Ellen Kay (Bohart) Reinhard, 56, beloved wife, mother, sister and friend, passed peacefully on February 4, 2018, at the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center, Johns Hopkins Medical Center in Baltimore, MD following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Ellen was born on June 14, 1961 to Dale and Patti Pequignot Bohart. She was a 1980 graduate of Liberty High School. She is survived by her loving husband, Tim Reinhard, with whom she celebrated 23 years of marriage. She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Casey (Abram) Zuchowski, Christi Crist and Heidi Reinhard; step-daughters, Lindsey (Lucas) Mooney and Lanie (Joshua) Wesneski; her grandchildren, Emilie and Wyatt Zuchowski; step-grandchildren, Makenzi Reinhard, Sophia Wesneski and G’iah Gadson; sisters, Kathy English (Jacob Falk), Karen Huffman (Duane); brother, Douglas Bohart (Joan Abplanalp); brother-in-law, Martin (Beatrice) Reinhard; sister-in law, Kathy (Raymond) Ingalls. She loved her companions Binx, Pearly, Poe, and Tiggs and was known to care for many strays that needed a good home.

Ellen was employed by the Hillside Senior Living facility where she developed caring relationships with many of the residents. She was a kind, generous and giving person who always had a listening ear and a lending hand. As a gifted decorator and flower gardener she made houses into homes. She enjoyed many evenings with a glass of wine on her porch or on her Harley riding with her husband.

In keeping with Ellen’s wishes, a private celebration of her life will be held with family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Pancreatic Cancer Research Center at NFPTR, Johns Hopkins Hospital, CRBII, Room 341, 1550 Orleans Street, Baltimore MD 21231 would be appreciated.
