Clifford F. Goodwin

Clifford F. Goodwin, 91, of York, PA, formerly of Wellsboro, PA, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2017 at Pinnacle West Shore Hospital in Mechanicsburg, PA.  He was born September 28, 1925 in Wellsboro, PA, the son of the late Floyd and Delilah (Marvin) Goodwin.

Clifford was a former member of the Odd Fellows Lodge.  He enjoyed coaching softball especially when his daughter was one of the players.  He was an avid hunter and loved being in the outdoors.  Clifford had a fascination with the Civil War; particularly the Battle of Gettysburg.

Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Kim Goodwin, York, PA; daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Steve Himes, Mechanicsburg, PA; grandchildren, Chris, Janette, Von, Vance and Nick; great-grandchildren, Mark, Cleo and Vance; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Cathy Jo Goodwin; four brothers and a sister.

Clifford’s Life Celebration will be held Friday, June 23, 2017 from 10-11 AM at Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, 139 Main St., Wellsboro, PA 16901. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM with Pastor Rich Hanlon officiating.  Burial will be in the Catlin Hollow Cemetery.
