Marjorie C. (Collins) Kriner

Marjorie C. Kriner, 78, of Morris, PA, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital in Wellsboro, PA.  She was the wife of Lyle P. Kriner, whom she married on September 28, 1974.  Marjorie was born April 11, 1938 in Morris, PA. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ruth (Osborn) Collins.

Marjorie was a graduate of Liberty High school.  She worked as secretary for Pa. Dept. of Transportation, retiring after 33 years. Marjorie was a member of Morris UMC.  In addition she belonged to Mary Wells Chapter #452 O.E.S. Wellsboro, PA.

Surviving are her husband Lyle; stepdaughters, Elthea (Keith) Maust, FL Keys and Edyth May, Wellsboro, PA; sister, Naomi (Martin) Patt, Wellsboro, PA and brother, Donald (Jean) Collins, Morris, PA; four step-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren;  three nephews and a niece.

Friends and family are invited to Marjorie’s Life Celebration on Monday, August 29, 2016, from 12-1 PM                             

at Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, Ltd., 139 Main St., Wellsboro, PA. Funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM.

 Burial will be in the West Branch Cemetery.    

Memorials may be made in Marjorie’s name to Twin Tiers Regional Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, PO Box 1306, Elmira, NY 14902.
